A Valentine’s Day Cocktail with Missy

“The Shocker”
Inspired by citrus season and named for its shocking pink color (that’s right people, get your mind out of the gutter), this romantic winter cocktail blends the classic pairing of gin and grapefruit with complex floral elements to tickle her tastebuds. Show off with some unexpected moves by finishing with a spark of lit grapefruit. 
Our lovely bartender Missy demonstrates how you can mix to impress.
Build in a shaker with ice:
-1oz. fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
-1oz. Watershed Gin
-1/4 oz. house made beet root shrub
-3/4 oz. St. Germaine
-Dash of Peychaud’s bitters
Squeeze a piece of grapefruit rind next to a flame to spark her attention.
Drop in and shake it.
Pour into a curvy coupe glass; top with… 
-1/2 oz. sparkling Prosecco
-Grapefruit to garnish
Toast and enjoy!
